Malheureu-sement, m\u00eame pour un esprit qui se veut libre, le monde et ses normes ne se laissent pas facilement ignorer et la pression peut s&#8217;av\u00e9rer tr\u00e8s forte, trop peut \u00eatre&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lise Tremblay signe avec<em> La Danse juive<\/em> un roman acide et f\u00e9roce sur la difficult\u00e9 de vivre sa diff\u00e9rence dans un monde corset\u00e9 par l&#8217;apparence et la norme &#8211; et ceci m\u00eame pour une femme pr\u00eate \u00e0 assumer\u00a0 jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;autodestruction voire la monstruosit\u00e9. Cette narratrice, solitaire, intelligente, souvent hostile, parfois dr\u00f4le de part son implacable sens de la d\u00e9rision et du d\u00e9risoire, est un personnage profond et complexe dont on ne sait bien si son poids l&#8217;a pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9cart d&#8217;un monde plein de m\u00e9pris ou si sa personnalit\u00e9 atypique, opposante et rebelle \u00e0 l&#8217;extr\u00eame, l&#8217;a conduite, face \u00e0 une famille trop conventionnelle, \u00e0 se dissimuler dans son propre corps, rempar\u00e9 comme une forteresse contre toute tentative d&#8217;assimilation, d&#8217;ali\u00e9nation ou m\u00eame simplement d&#8217;affection. Une histoire sans complaisance, d\u00e9rangeante et forte qui pose de multiples questions et ne laisse pas indemne.
